Job Description

  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Log service calls received
  • Ensure timeous handling of all customer queries
  • Identify correct fault diagnosis
  • Accurately load all information on the BPO system
  • Data capturing
  • Processing quotations
  • Coordinate technicians
  • Follow company communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
  • Work with Call Centre supervisor to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Open and close all calls received
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Service Controller or Customer Service agent
  • Grade 12/Matric qualification
  • Strong in Microsoft word & excel
  • Must have industry experience
  • High standard of accuracy & proficiency
  • Telephone and email etiquette
  • Speed and accuracy in typing as calls are logged
  • Timeous handing of administrative duties & completion of work
  • Must be able to handle stress within a highly pressurized environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management skills
